Ms. Jaya Verma is working as an Assistant Professor of Law at the School of Legal Studies CMR University, Bangalore. Prior to joining CMR University, Ms. Jaya worked as an assistant professor of law at REVA University, Bangalore where she served as faculty Coordinator for Centre for Human Rights Law and Practice and Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and Advancement. She has co-organised two virtual international conferences, Policy making Hackathon, 5 Day online FDP, outreach programs on behalf of Centre for IPR and guest lectures. She has also held positions as dissertation coordinator for the UG program and faculty coordinator for the Magazine Committee, ‘Illustratio’. She has taught Investment and Securities Law, Public International Law, Information Technology Law, Corporate Law and Infrastructure Law.

Ms. Jaya Verma has completed her graduation with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Chanakya National Law University, Patna and her post graduation with an LL.M. degree in Corporate and Financial Law and Policy from Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana. She has cleared UGC NET (Law) certification in 2022 in her first attempt. She has also qualified the All India Bar Exam (AIBE 18).

Presented paper on the topic- “Examining State Cooperation and Legal Responses to Transnational Drug Trafficking: A Study of International Law Compliances and Enforcement Strategies” in the International Conference, ‘Serious and Organised Crime Conference’, organised by REVA University in collaboration with HUME Institute of Post Graduate Studies, Switzerland.   2. Presented paper on the topic- “Exploring the Post-COVID Landscape: Assessing the Well-being of Producers and Manufacturers in India” in the International Conference, ‘Chartering New Territories: Legal Transformations for Protecting Human Rights in a Dynamic World’ organised by REVA University in collaboration with HUME Institute of Post Graduate Studies, Switzerland.
