Ashwathi Singh is an Assistant Professor of Law at CMR University School of Legal Studies, with a strong academic foundation and professional experience in both legal practice and research. She holds a B.A.,LL.B. and an LL.M., and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Law. Before entering academia, she worked as a Legal Associate, where she was engaged in drafting, contract management, real estate transactions, compliance, and intellectual property documentation. Her exposure to both corporate legal practice and academic research allows her to bring a practical and analytical approach to teaching. She has presented papers at national and international conferences and has published on topics including constitutional governance, the rule of law, and legal reforms. With a passion for mentoring students, she strives to foster critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and research-driven education, contributing meaningfully to the growth of legal scholarship and academic excellence.
