CMRU Student Law Review

The CMR University, School of Legal Studies proposes to commence publication of the CMR University Student Law Review. The same is intended to be nurtured into becoming a premiere publication with the necessary affiliations and approvals like ISSN and other further qualifications. The editorial advisory board consists of thought leaders from academia and industry. The editorial team consists of a highly motivated team of faculty and students committed to excellence. Our team has previously been highly successful in publishing the UGC CARE listed CMRU JCLA which is the inspiration behind the current effort. The law review will follow the benchmarks and best practices set forth by the best publications in the industry. It will be a refereed and peer reviewed journal seeking to offer research of a high quality to the academic community.

 Call for Papers

The CMR University Student Law Review calls for original, unpublished work on any contemporary issue related to law and its allied areas under the following categories, to be published in Volume 1 dated 1st May, 2023

  • Long Article (5000 – 8000 words)
  • Short Article (3000 – 5000 words)
  • Case note/Comment (1500 – 3000 words)
  • Book Review (1500 – 3000 words)

Note:

  • Every submission shall be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words reflecting the importance of the topic in the Contemporary world and a short bio of the author/s not exceeding 150 words each.
  • The abstract and authors bio shall be uploaded as separate documents through the official upload link only.
  • The prescribed word limit mentioned above shall exclude Abstract and Footnotes.
  • Speaking footnotes and Endnotes are not permitted.

Entries shall adhere to the CMRU JCLA Submission Guidelines, 2022.
