Advocate Vidya Selvamony is a visiting faculty in CMR School of Legal Studies (w.e.f. June 2017), alongside doing consulting in Terre des hommes Germany – India Programme, as Co-ordinator. She has her own Trust going by the name of Legal Aid Trust, which was established in 2013 as a part of her philanthropy activity, where she is an Advocate and a Managing Trustee. Before this, she was the Programme Co-ordinator at Equitable Tourism Options (EQUATIONS) from Feb 2004 to May 2013, even before that, she was an Advocate in Thiru & Thiru Associates (Advocates & Solicitors) from Aug 2000 to Jan 2004.
