CMRLS offers five-year integrated B.B.A., LL.B. and B.A., LL.B. courses along with the three-year LL.B course for the current academic year. Moving forward, we will also develop executive education programmes, short term certificate courses, diploma and postgraduate diploma programmes for lawyers, teachers, paralegals and other professionals.
The Three-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree programme is for graduates and the five-year B.B.A., LL.B and the B.A., LL.B. degree programmes are for undergraduates. The law subjects covered in both the programmes are the same. The five-year degree programmes also provide a foundation in management subjects/ social sciences and humanities respectively.

CMRLS has a dedicated team of faculty which reflects a unique blend of youth and experience, all of them, having completed Masters of Law (LLM). CMRLS also hosts highly experienced faculty, many of whom, having completed their PhD are actively engaged in the pursuit of excellence in academics and research. The faculty at CMRLS actively participates in various development programmes, seminars and conferences to keep themselves up to date in their relevant areas of activity.
For every academic year, classes for the first year commences on the 1st of August.

Apart from being eligible to function as an independent legal practitioner, the law graduate nowadays enjoys a variety of career options. The legal profession itself has undergone a rapid transformation, progressing from the traditional family-owned firms to large corporate law firms and flourishing litigation firms. Any student graduating in law can now look forward to working at any of these big firms, many of which have a substantive presence in Bangalore.
The practice of law today includes resolving a complex variety of needs and demands from big corporate clients, many of which prefer hiring an in-house counsel for their various legal needs. Further specialisation also has benefits; a student going on to specialise in any area will be greatly advantaged. Another growing trend is the arrival of knowledge process outsourcing. This field, while still in its initial stages, has already seen the influx of a huge number of job opportunities, whereby a qualified legal professional is sought to be a member of teams working on projects involving complex legal processes.
All these developments, notwithstanding traditional requirements still remain in vogue. Competitive exams conducted to recruit officers to administrative posts in government bodies and public sector undertakings attract a number of law graduates. Apart from these opportunities. a number of practicing senior advocates, propose to offer excellent opportunities towards career development.
The Internship and Placement Cell at CMR Law School seeks to make use of the available resources to achieve maximum potential. The institution has prepared an effective plan of action aimed at the efficient functioning of the cell. Training activities have been proposed to prepare the prospective students for campus selection programmes. Reputed law firms and corporate houses are approached and have shown a keen interest in hosting campus recruitment events on our campus.
The Internship and Placement Cell coordinates with the corporate sector in order to provide the adequate infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. The cell maintains a cordial relationship with all recruiting agencies, as well as a large body of independent advocates and solicitors who view CMR Law School as a talent pool for recruiting interns and associates each semester.
