I am Amritha S, a passionate and inquisitive academic mind with a strong commitment in the field of education and research. I aim to contribute to academia by nurturing critical thinking, promoting interdisciplinary learning, and engaging in impactful research. Pursuing a Ph.D. in Law (2025) at Amity University, I hold an LL.M in Constitutional Law (2024–2025) from CMR University, School of Legal Studies, Bangalore, and a B.A. LL.B (2018–2023) from St. Joseph’s College of Law, Bangalore. My research contributions include three published papers: “Dharma to Dandaniti: Exploring Ancient Texts Through the Lens of Bhartiya Nyaya Shastra” (UGC CARE-listed Journal), “Rule of Law in India: A Critical Evaluation of its Implementation and Impact”, and The Role of Environmental Law in Protecting Indigenous Community,” along with a presentation on “Gender Parity in Governance: Legislative Measures to Enhance Women’s Representation” at a national seminar. I have also completed certifications including Intersectionality and the Constitution, Human Rights in the Indian Context, Journey to Judgeship, and Art of Cross Examination. My academic interests focus on Constitutional Interpretation and as well as Comparative Constitutional Law. My professional experience includes internships with Themis Attorney, Chennai (Jan–Mar 2024), Adv. Sandhya U Prabhu (June 2023), District Legal Services Authority, Bangalore (Oct 2022), and Adv. V.S. Sreenivasan, (Oct–Nov 2021), covering areas such as constitutional law, writ petition drafting, mediation, rights-based litigation, and bail matters.
