Our President

Ms. Rexey a student of 4th year BBA.LLB is simply recognized as a woman of work rather than words. Being the President of Guest Lecturer Club for astonishing 1 year, Rexey stands out as a familiar name in the campus. Her exceptional organizing skill and the ability to work under pressure have made her the go to person in college. Even after shouldering responsibility of club simultaneously, Rexey also shares the responsibility of being a Class Representative for a successive four years in a row.
Her objectives for her club members are to bring in accomplished lawyers and exceptional speakers to share their thoughts and advice. Rexey participates in National Moot Court Competitions and Model United Nations at regular intervals. As a person, Rexey is extremely cheerful and an enthusiastic individual. Above all her confidence, potential and overall attitude towards should be an example for all her peers.

Our Secretary

Affable and polite in her approach, Ria Felix, believes, ‘For any young leader, it’s less about knowing; more about caring’, and that drives her to integrate or diffuse conflicting opinions whenever they arise.
Her easy – going nature has made it possible to initiate, co-ordinate and execute a series of lectures by eminent speakers on subjects including, ‘Changing Scenarios – Law as a Career Option’, ‘Moot Court Preparation’, ‘Rights and Privileges of Telecom Users’ and ‘Internship Guidance’ etc.
Being elected Class Representative, unchallenged, for a successive second term is telling of a congenial attitude she carries with her. Organising the 360 Degree MUN (Model United Nations) held at Thiruvananthapuram in 2017, as the Deputy Secretary General, in the esteemed presence of the prolific writer and great orator, Shri. Shashi Tharoor, whose inspiring speech, motivated her foray into this club of the college student body.
Her Internships with reputed Law firms including J Sagar Associates, Bangalore and Business Consulting Firms such as Grant Thornton India LLP, Bangalore have helped augment her network of contacts for the future of both, the Guest Lecture Club as well as the Internship and Placement Cell.
Frequenting seminars that cover varied aspects of law, she aims at enhancing the networking of the Guest Lecture Club and drawing more prominent speakers to CMR University, School of Legal Studies.

Our Faculty Coordinator

Mrs. Vidya MN has completed her Masters of Law [LL.M] in 2004 specializing in Constitutional Law [secured 5th rank] and Bachelor of Law [LL.B] in 2002 from University Law College, Bengaluru. She has also pursued PG diplomas in Human Rights & IPR from NLSIU, Bengaluru and Cyber law from NALSAR, Hyderabad and has completed M.B.A [specializing in HR] from Annamalai University and M.A in History from Kuvempu University. In her 11 years teaching experience she has taught students of law, management, engineering and CA. She has presented/published several papers and delivered a guest lectures on topics like ‘Right to Education “ With special reference to Indian Constitution. She has also been a part of various National and State seminars, conferences, and workshops. Her subjects of interest are Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Company Law, Intellectual Property Rights and Cyber law.
