The Moot Court Club

Our President

Mr Rony Augustine, is a five year BBA., LLB student, currently pursuing his final year in CMR Law school. He has participated in various national and international moots since his first year. He was also awarded the prestigious CMR Leadership award for his excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. He along with the faculty coordinator and other fellow mooters trains the students before they appear for national mooting events. He has been shouldering the responsibility of the President of the Moot Court Club consecutively for the second term.

Our Secretary

Ms. Rexey a student of 4th year BBA.LLB is simply recognized as a woman of work rather than words. Being the Secretary for Moot Court Club for astonishing 1 year and the President of Guest Lecturer Club, Rexey stands out as a familiar name in the campus. Her exceptional organizing skill and the ability to work under pressure have made her the go to person in college. Even after shouldering responsibility of two clubs simultaneously, Rexey also shares the responsibility of being a Class Representative for a successive four years in a row.
Rexey participates in National level Moot Court Competition and Model United Nations at regular intervals. She has participated in seven competitions so far. When it comes to mooting her Arguing and analytical skills have made her a good mooter. Her objectives for her club members is to provide the best platform for enhancing their skills and helping them achieve their goals in advocacy.

Our Faculty Coordinator

Mrs Chanjana Elsa Philip, is currently working with CMR Law school as an Asst Professor and is the faculty in charge for the moot court club. She is an LLM Graduate and a UG NET qualified, and been teaching for almost a decade. She herself is an acclaimed mooter of her time and has won various national moot court competitions and has represented the country in international rounds of William C Vis Arbitration moot court competition held at Austria.
