On completing M.Sc. in Economics in 2013, Mr. Saptarshi began to serve as a visiting faculty of Economics in three of the renowned colleges in Kolkata. He qualified UGC-NET in 2015 and enrolled for PhD with Jadavpur University in 2016. In 2018, he was appointed as a Research Assistant (Non-Law) in WB National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS). Since August 2018, he is associated with School of Legal Studies, CMR University in capacity of Assistant Professor in Economics.
In his academic journey till now, Mr. Saptarshi has gathered experience of delivering lectures effectively on Statistics for Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematical Economics and International Trade. His area of interest lies specifically in Macroeconomics, Econometrics and Political Economics. Besides, he takes interest in Religious Economics, Economics of Crime and Marriage Economics. The area he is pursuing his PhD on is titled as ‘Economic Nexus of Finance and Growth’.
